In a shattered world of 37 years of war, two factions that had lost hope for a peaceful resolution of the conflict finally decided to sign a temporary truce. Both camps knew that this was just an attempt to distract themselves from their suffering, and soon a strange laboratory called the Mainland General Medical Association appeared on the horizon. She has offered technology that could help both sides, but this is just a mask hiding terrible consequences.

— I think this is our last chance to either emerge victorious or die,"said one of the faction commanders, looking at the armistice documents that were lying on the table. "We need crystals. ––

— But are you sure? These Renaissance sands are mixed with other chemical materials, so they can cause harm," his assistant reminded him.

— We can't afford to lose more territory," sighed Acider, hoping that his words would be right.

Meanwhile, inside the laboratory, a group of scientists led by Acider was preparing for an experiment. They believed that the crystals would help create a stimulant that would revive the hope of both factions.

— We have to get started," Acider said, insisting that they waste no time. - Bring the guilty Golst.

When the frightened Golst was brought into the room, Acider confidently stepped towards him.

"It's going to be painful," he warned, before administering the experimental stimulant .

The first days passed relatively calmly, but then the treatment gave its horrific results. On the seventh day, the golst lost consciousness. Acider, concerned about the patient's condition, moved closer.

— Does he not see anything at all? He asked, but received only a meaningless sigh in response.

Suddenly, Golst raised his hand and grabbed his wrist, leaving a trail of blood on Acider's skin .

— No! One of the scientists shouted as Acider began to lose consciousness. "It's impossible!

In the depths of the laboratory, blinded by the light of the Renaissance, Acider was faced with a difficult choice. He felt a strong pulsation of the heart inside him, and realized that a sacrifice was needed to activate the crystal, but he couldn't afford to regain control .

— I have to get stronger," he mused aloud as he looked at the scientist Golst trapped. "And I can do it.

— Don't be afraid," Acider said, addressing the golst. "You will be useful for my good, give me in my arms."

On his orders, the infected approached Acider.

"I don't understand what's going on," whispered the scientist Golst, trembling with fear.

"I don't understand either," Acider replied. "But I know I have to do it.

An infected Golst tore Acider in half, taking his upper body. It was covered in blood, but it had already begun to turn into crystals.

"It's necessary for survival," Acider explained.

In the maze of the laboratory, where the air was filled with the smell of raw blood and crystalline energy, panic was growing. One of the scientists, realizing what had happened, rushed to the exit, hoping to get out of this hellish place.

"I need to leave!" He cried, but his words were only disagreements in the minds of those who remained. "It's impossible!"

However, Acider, who had undergone a terrible transformation, listened to his cries with cold-blooded interest. He gathered around him a group of infected golsts who had changed like him, and with their help he decided to catch his former colleague.

— He can't leave," Acider said, his voice like the cold whisper of the wind. "We have to show him the consequences.

The infected stood like puppets under his command. And they rushed in pursuit of the scientist, leaving only a rustle and a shadow behind them.

— Please stop! The scientist shouted, suddenly realizing that there was nowhere to run. His heart pounded in his chest as he saw the figures of his former comrades, now possessed by the Renaissance sacrificers and Acider, looming ahead of him .

— You can't leave," Acider reassured him, slowly bringing the infected closer. "We still have a lot of unfinished business.

The scientist's hand trembled as he turned around, but Acider was already there. The infected golsts surrounded him, their stiff hands grabbed him like pincers .

— You are welcome! I can explain everything! The scientist exclaimed, trying to break free .

— You don't need to explain anything," Acider replied with a smile that inspired fear. "Your time is up.

With each blow that the infected inflicted, the scientist realized that there was no chance of escaping this madness. They beat him, and his screams drowned out everything around him, remaining within the walls of the laboratory like the last cry for help. Flashes of pain pierced his body, and he felt the life leave him .

As the scientist collapsed to the ground, his eyes closed, and Acider stared at it coldly, as if watching a spectacle.

"It was necessary," he said, addressing his infected. "Everyone who dares to flee must understand that we are now united even though you don't understand me, since you are in your own illusion of the brain. There is no escapes, please he he" . (In the end, laughing heartily)

Suddenly, silence enveloped the laboratory, but the smell of blood hung in the air, mixing with crystalline light, promising that such scenes would become the norm in Acider's new and now personal world.

He put his hand to his body, feeling unbearable pain in the process. His body began to merge with Golst's hand, regenerating more and more, and his body began to feel like a part of another. He lost some organs in the process. It was as if he had become a different person.

— You're a part of me now," Acider said, looking at the infected golst. "In any case, I can clone tissues and muscles of the legs.

Then, new possibilities burst into his mind. He will control his infected, he will break time, he will live forever, all for the sake of crystals.

Acider soon realized that special ingredients were needed to activate the Renaissance. The idea of sacrifice became a temptation for him. Without hesitation, he decided to split into two in order to become more mobile and evasive. Now he was not just a scientist, but a creature devoured by crystals called H2SO4.

— I'm no longer just Acider, I'm life and death, I decide When Should You Breathe, im H2SO4," he said, looking at his infected former colleagues. They became his personally controlled army.

With his new power, the faction of the guardians of the time continuum went to him to get rid of him. Killing the entire Guardian faction took Acider to the next level, and he found a way to disrupt the timeline itself. Every step, every movement only increased his power.

— I'll never see you again — he laughed at the prospect of infinite power. — Looking at his infected golsts, who were under the control of H2SO4.

At this moment, the shadow of war loomed on the horizon, but now it was mixed with the essence that contained the dark secrets of the crystals. The truce turned out to be only a fog hiding the approaching storm.
